Where to buy a puggle?

We are very excited to be a part of this group, but we need a puggle first!

Any suggestions on where to find good, healthy puggles in or near NYC?

Also, what is the going rate for a puggle pup? $500? $1,000?

We payed about $1000 for Peanut and when we got him from the pet store he had kennel cough. I recommend checking puggle rescues on the internet. There are lots of cute puggles that need homes and they will be less expensive too!!! Good luck! They are the best dogs ever!

We got ours at Shake a Paw in hicksville long island. they are a breeder representative and all the dogs come from breeders. there are plenty of people who have bad things to say about shake a paw but our doggie was fine from minute one.(except for usual puggle craziness--but I can't blame them for that!). they were asking $1200 for her at 8 weeks old, but we negotiated $1050--this was two years ago when they were super trendy. i think this has died down somwhat plus if you get one a few weeks older the cost goes down. good luck

We got Bauer from www.PETCITYPETS.com and he was sent to us... they had a 2 month wait list but Buauer is a great little guy so it was worth it.

We got Miko from DK Kennels in Oklahoma: http://djminibeagles.... on the recommendation of a friend who also got their puggle from them. Miko arrived healthy and is an awesome dog - and of course, in my unbiased opinion she is also the most gorgeous little puppy!! The only thing I do regret is having her fly - I felt so bad picking her up at the airport - it must be very stressful and traumatic on a little pup. If I could've, I would have picked her up in Oklahoma! We paid about $750 for Miko including shipping. She came with all her papers and vet records...very easy to deal with.
